Training and Competency
XCCS ensure that all Bulk Vehicle Operators engaged in services meet customer requirements and are fully trained in the operation of the vehicle and its equipment. Employees are trained and regularly drilled in emergency procedures to enable them to respond effectively to any incident giving rise to an emergency. Training programs include:

Journey Management and Monitoring
Transport Security
XCCS have developed policies and procedures for all types of threats which drivers may experience to reduce the risks. Drivers are trained on how to respond to security threats and tips are regularly shared to increase awareness. Security risk is assessed during Route Risk Assessments of operated routes.

Vehicle Standard and Maintenance
XCCS operates vehicles in a “fit for purpose” condition and encourages the continued use and further development of safety enhancing features. Truck tractors are sent to Scania for service and/or repairs while trailers sent to GRW (OEM). Vehicles are serviced as per OEM service intervals. XCCS road tankers comply with the relevant road traffic legislation, standards or requirements.
Audits
XCCS operations will be subject to Internal and External audits, including roadside audits and on spot checks on vehicles, to assure driver compliance. After each audit a Remedial Action Plan is compiled, maintained and monitored.
